Where’s our water?

Adiala Road is one of the most populous areas of Rawalpindi and its residents have been facing a persistent water shortage for many years. The district administration has not paid much attention to this problem and the same can be said of the provincial and federal governments, despite multiple applications to the relevant authorities from the residents.

As a result, people have to buy water from tankers at very high prices. No specific price is fixed for these tankers by the water authorities. The Punjab government and other relevant administrative authorities including the district administration and Wasa need to take action and resolve this water shortage issue as soon as possible.
