Earth Day celebrated at ARL’s biodiversity park

Rawalpindi: Attock Refinery Limited (ARL) in collaboration with National Cleaner Production Center (NCPC), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Rawalpindi, celebrated Earth Day at ARL’s Morgah Biodiversity Park, says a press release.
An awareness walk was arranged along with the local schoolchildren, university volunteers and representatives from Murree Brewery Co. Ltd. The primary objective of this walk was to raise awareness about the theme of this year’s Earth Day i.e., the Planet Versus Plastics and to highlight the need of eliminating the plastic pollution. The ARL & EPA officials addressed the participants about the criticality of the issue and the steps which needs to be taken.
