Islamabad:The Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training is set to embark on the National Nutrition Programme early next month as part of efforts to further the cause of child education and healthcare in the Islamabad Capital Territory.
The initiative comes on the orders of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and is slated for launch on May 1 with the partnership of the Allah Wala Trust, according to education secretary Mohyuddin Wani. He told 'The News' that in the first phase of the programme, students of all government primary schools in Islamabad would receive free meals.
