Journalist Colony problems to be solved: Azma
LAHORE: Provincial Minister for Information & Culture Azma Bokhari has said that the Punjab government would launch Phase-II for Journalists Colony soon.
During her visit to Journalist Colony here Thursday, the minister said that there is no word of favouritism in PMLN’s dictionary. She said that during the previous government the colony had gone 10 years back in terms of development and construction work.
‘I have talked to the Wasa and Lesco officials for development work. Parks should also be built in this society. The doors of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz are always open to journalists.’ Azma Bokhari said the canal crossing issue would also be resolved. The problems of Journalists Colony along with other societies would be solved with the construction of a bridge, she added.
