LWMC official suspended
LAHORE: Lahore Waste Management Company CEO Babar Sahib Din visited Gulberg Town, inspected worker attendance and cleanliness standards. During the inspection, Zonal Officer Abdul Manan was suspended for inadequate cleaning practices, while Town Manager Chaudhry Aslam received a show-cause notice and final warning. According to LWMC spokesperson Umar Chaudhry, CEO visited Gurumangat Road, Noor Jahan Road, and MM Alam Road, reviewed the cleanliness in Firdous Market, Madina Colony, and Gulbahar Colony.
Under these evaluations, the town manager and zonal officer were admonished to maintain cleanliness standards. All members of the operations team were instructed to maintain a constant presence in the field to uphold sanitation standards, with zero tolerance for negligence on duty or cleaning responsibilities.
