LDA directors ordered to improve performance
LAHORE: Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Director General Tahir Farooq has warned the authority’s housing and town planning wings to improve their performance and provide maximum services to the citizens.
He passed these remarks while chairing a meeting of all the directors of LDA on Monday. Director Housing, Additional DG UP, Additional DG Housing, Chief Town Planner and Chief Metropolitan Planning attended the meeting.
LDA DG said that the performance of the directors of Housing and Town Planning wings will be reviewed on daily basis. He directed the directors and staff from Housing and Town Planning wings to improve their surveillance in their respective areas and remain active and visible in the field.
The officer who will work and perform will remain on the seat, the DG said and assigned the working related tasks to all the directors of housing. Tahir Farooq said that all the officers must change their attitude to improve the general image of LDA and those who do not work must be held accountable. Housing directors should take full ownership of their respective areas and verbal submissions will not work, he added.
