PTI leaders pay tribute to martyr Lt-Col Kashif Ali
Sindh Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) president Haleem Adil Sheikh on Friday offered condolences to the family of Lieutenant Colonel Syed Kashif Ali, who was martyred in a North Waziristan terrorist attack.
He visited Ali’s residence, accompanied by PTI leaders Arsalan Khalid, Farhan Ghori, Muhammad Rashid Advocate and Kashif Nizami.
Speaking to media persons after the meeting, Sheikh said that PTI, under the leadership of founder chairman Imran Khan and the core committee, was there to pay respect to Ali, a hero who sacrificed his life for the nation. He added that the party saluted his sacrifice.
He said these martyrs are the nation’s lifeline, standing guard while citizens sleep peacefully at home. Pakistan is eternally grateful for their sacrifice, he added.
The PTI leader praised the dedication of soldiers. In his words, the most exceptional young people join the army, not just for employment but to aspire to martyrdom and serve the nation.
He highlighted the military’s role in national security by saying that Pakistan enjoys relative peace compared to other countries, which is a testament to the army’s sacrifices.
Sheikh remarked that nations that forget their martyrs forget their history. Karachi’s son who sacrificed for the country fills them with pride, he said.
“We are proud of all Pakistanis who give their lives for the nation,” Sheikh commented, adding that the PTI commends Ali for his bravery.
