The job at hand

It is unclear whether the newly elected government is going to serve its own interests or come up with a viable strategy to mend the ailing economy. From dissention among political leaders, vilifying each other on television, to the use of toxic rhetoric and allegations of malfeasance, there has been little sign of planning to address any issues of national importance.
This is a very critical time for the country and the ruling class needs to direct all its efforts towards dealing with economic and political challenges. A larger IMF programme, while needed, will not get the economy out of the red on its own.
