Two swindlers arrested

LAHORE: Masti Gate police Tuesday arrested two suspected swindlers. The police detained Pervaiz and Shafi on charges of robbing citizens of cash using different tactics.

Seven die in road accidents

The Emergency Services Department (ESD) responded to 1,318 road traffic accidents in all 37 districts of Punjab during the last 24 hours. In these accidents, seven people died, whereas 1,376 were injured. Out of these, 606 people with serious injuries were shifted to different hospitals, while 770 victims with minor injuries were treated at the incident site by Rescue medical teams.

Man injured after falling off roof

A 55-year-old labourer sustained injuries when he fell from the fourth floor of a building at Shahkam Chowk. The victim was busy in work when he lost his balance and fell down. He was shifted to hospital.

3 killers rounded up

Model Town police Tuesday arrested three suspects involved in the murder of a citizen. The police detained accused Manzoor, Abdullah and Attique on charges of kidnapping Rizwan and killing him later on.
