Ex-president Alvi allotted official residence in Clifton
The official residence has been allotted to the former president in accordance with Para 2-B of the President Pension Act

KARACHI: Just a day after Dr Arif Alvi relinquished the Presidency in Islamabad at the conclusion of his presidential tenure and came to Karachi to settle in his native home, the former president has been allotted an official residence in the city.
According to a report carried by Daily Jang on its website on Monday, the former president has been allotted the official residence in the Bath Island area in Clifton.
A communiqué to this effect has been sent by the Estate Management Office
of the federal government to the office of the secretary of the Presidential Secretariat in Islamabad.
The official residence has been allotted to the former president in accordance with Para 2-B of the President Pension Act.
