RAWALPINDI: Usman Khan who struck his third ton in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) Sunday said that he has not been contacted by any official of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) so far. The Sialkot-born opening batsman who is also eligible to play for UAE said that no one from the PCB has approached him.
“I have not heard anything from the PCB as yet.” He was excited about his form, saying though it was good to bat here it all depends on your form and ability to perform.
“I love to perform at the highest stage. I am happy that I have yet again struck a hundred and have also missed a close one just a few matches back. But feeling a bit low at the team’s loss.” Usman termed Mohammad Rizwan as a quality captain.
“He keeps us as a family and makes us comfortable enough that we can perform to our best abilities. One of the reasons our playing top cricket is that everyone backs each other.” United captain Shadab Khan who also spoke to media said he was enjoying playing in the middle-order. “I am in the process of regaining my form that helped me get into the team. I am happy that I scored yet another half-century and contributed well to the team’s cause.”
