ISLAMABAD: The formation of the team of newly elected Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has entered the final stages as the names of minis ters, advisers and assistants for the new cabinet have been decided. According to sources, it has been decided to give the portfolio of foreign minister to former finance minister Ishaq Dar while former care taker finance minister Sham shad Akhtar will be inducted as Special Assistant on Finance and Aurangzeb Khan as Adviser on Finance. Sources said former care taker foreign minister Jalil Abbas Jilani will be appointed as adviser on foreign affairs and Tariq Fatemi as special assistant on foreign affairs. In the new cabinet, former care taker chief minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi will be given the portfolio of interior and Khawaja Asif will be given the portfolio of Defence Min istry. According to sources, it has been decided to give the portfolio of Information Ministry to Attaullah Tarar, Energy Ministry to Musidak Malik and post of Minister of Planning and Develop ment to Ahsan Iqbal. Sources say Ghazi Akhtar is likely to be given responsibilities in Industries ministry and Salman Ahmed in Board of Investment.
