Gohar elected unopposed PTI chairman, Omar Ayub general secretary
Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, MNA, has been elected unopposed as the party chairman
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) senior leader Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, MNA, has been elected unopposed as the party chairman.
According to Geo News, another senior party leader Omar Ayub MNA has been elected unopposed as central general secretary, whereas Dr Yasmin Rashid has been elected unopposed as president of the PTI Punjab.
Likewise, the party’s candidate for chief minister’s slot of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur, made his way to the provincial president’s post unopposed and Haleem Adil Sheikh was elected president of PTI Sindh.
Apart from this, intra-party elections will be held in Quetta for the seat of president of PTI Balochistan.
According to the statement, the final announcement of the PTI intra-party election results would be made on March 3.
