SSC Part II exams begin today

Rawalpindi: The first annual examination of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Rawalpindi for the Matric 2024 is commencing from today (Friday).

All arrangements have been completed. To ensure a fully transparent examination, all examination staff, including resident and district supervisors, deputy superintendents, and invigilators' records, have been scrutinised, and lists have been sent to the special branch and intelligence bureau for monitoring during the exams.

Chairman of the Board, Muhammad Adnan Khan, and Controller of Examinations, Professor Sajid Mahmood Farooqi, stated in a joint announcement that utilising all resources of the board, with cooperation from the district, tehsil, and divisional administration, they aim to eradicate cheating and paper leakages through the help of relevant authorities.

They further stated that directives have been issued by the Commissioner Rawalpindi to Deputy Commissioners, Additional Commissioners, and Assistant Commissioners of all districts to ensure daily monitoring of all examination centres and to record remarks on all officers (SF-2) regarding their attendance. Examination centre monitoring will be rigorous and comprehensive to ensure the smooth conduct of exams. Furthermore, the Chairman and Controller of Examinations have issued instructions regarding examination logistics to focal persons and members of vigilance committees established at every district level in Rawalpindi Division.

Inspection teams comprising Chairman Squad, Special Squad, Mobile Inspectors, and Vigilance Committees will inspect examination centres daily and submit their reports to the board office, based on which improvements will be made to the examination process, and complaints will be addressed promptly. A Central Control Room has been set up at the board office, and Control Rooms have been established at every district level in Chief Executive Offices.
