Moot discusses innovations in neurosurgery
LAHORE: A seminar on the latest innovations in the field of neurosurgery and its technical aspects was organised at the Punjab Institute of Neurosciences (PINS) in which Senior Professors of Global Neurosurgery Dr Gail from George Washington University, USA, Prof Rousseau and Amas Medical Center USA Prof Richard Pimuser delivered lectures on the latest developments in neurosurgery and gene therapy for brain tumors.
They said Pakistani neurosurgeons have a lot of potential and they can contribute more to global neurosurgery through their research, which is being expressed especially in an institution of its own kind like PINS where a large number of patients come not only from Punjab province but also from all over the country for the treatment of neuro diseases.
They assured Pakistani neurosurgeons of full cooperation and appreciated their hospitality especially in Lahore. ED PINS Prof Dr Asif Bashir while speaking in this regard said we will continue the best training of our neurosurgeons while sending them abroad to learn advanced techniques of neurosurgery and become proficient in it.
