Sumair appointed PSO to PM
A BPS-19 officer Muhammad Saleem has been posted as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis
ISLAMABAD: In a bureaucratic reshuffle, the federal government has appointed Sumair Ahmad Syed as Joint Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office.
Sumair Ahmad Syed had been serving as Secretary to the outgoing caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab, Mohsin Naqvi. Sumair Ahmad would also perform his duties as Principal Staff Officer (PSO) to the Prime Minister. Earlier, he had served as PSO to then prime minister Shehbaz Sharif.
Meanwhile, a BPS-22 officer of Secretariat Group Pervaiz Ahmad Junejo, who was waiting for posting at the Establishment Division, has been made Officer on Special Duty (OSD). A BPS-20 officer of Secretariat Group Ayesha Zareen Siddique, who was also waiting for posting, has been made an OSD.

Meanwhile, the services of Muhammad Rafiullah, a BPS-18 officer Punjab Management Service (PMS), have been given to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on deputation.
