Resumption of Pink Bike scheme demanded

LAHORE: PMLN MPA Sadia Taimoor has demanded restarting of Pink Bike Programme for working women in Punjab. Through a resolution submitted in the Punjab Assembly Secretariat, the MPA said that PMLN had launched the programme to distribute pink bikes amongst working women to address their transport problems.

Azma highlights govt’s welfare plans

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) leader Azma Bukhari said on Wednesday Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s politics would die down with the performance of Maryam Nawaz’s government.

Speaking to the media, she said the new Punjab government was set to announce various development projects for public convenience.She said CM Maryam Nawaz held meetings shortly after taking the oath of her office, focusing on improved healthcare facilities, the clean Punjab programme, and much more.

The PMLN leader highlighted that village cleanliness project, with a deadline set by the chief minister is currently under way. She said the Punjab government would accomplish unfinished works and projects left incomplete by the previous administrations.
