SUKKUR: Funeral prayers were held on Tuesday for seven persons who lost their lives in a dispute over forest land in Pano Aqil.
According to reports, the clash between the Jatoi and Mahar factions occurred in the Pano Aqil area of District Sukkur on Monday claiming seven lives.
The funeral prayers for six deceased members of the Jatoi clan, namely Imamuddin, Wali Muhammad, Pathan, Khush Muhammad, Shahwal, and Muhammad Azeem, took place in Katcho Bhindi amid tight security, attended by Jatoi clan members.
Similarly, funeral prayers for Abdul Hafeez Mahar, a member of the Mahar clan, were held in Bakho Mahar, a Katcha area of Pano Aqil.
