LAHORE: An 11-year-old child was burnt alive in a house fire in Shad Bagh. The fire broke out due to short-circuit in a house in Shad Bagh. In a short span of time, it turned into a huge fire. Faizan Shakeel was burnt alive in the fire. Nearby people called rescue teams. Fire fighters reached the spot on information and extinguished the fire.

Four arrested for murdering taxi driver

Police have arrested four suspects, including a woman, involved in the murder of an online taxi driver. SSP Operations Ali Raza while speaking at a press conference at Qila Gujjar Singh Police Lines said Abdul Rehman, son of Maulana Shakeel, central information secretary Ahl-e-Hadith, was found dead in bush near Pattoki on February 20. His body bore torture marks. The suspects identified as Kinza, Ahmad Shahzad, Ahmad Aish and Kashif had snatched his car and killed him on resistance.

Youth hurt in accident

A 25-year-old man was injured in an accident in Faisal Town. He was trying to a cross road when a speeding car hit him. He fell down and received injuries. The victim has been identified as Faisal.

Two robbers arrested

Raiwind City police arrested two robbers. The arrested suspects have been identified as Imran and Hashir. Police recovered two pistols, bullets, a motorcycle, ATM cards and cash. The suspects were found involved in many incidents of snatching and robbery.

17 die in accidents

The Emergency Services Department (ESD) responded to 1,221 road traffic accidents in all districts of Punjab during the last 24 hours. In these accidents, 17 people died, whereas 1,264 were injured.
