LAHORE:Partly cloudy and dry weather was recorded in the City here on Thursday while Met office predicted similar weather conditions for the next 24 hours.
Met officials said continental air was prevailing over most parts of the country while a westerly wave was likely to enter western parts of the country on Saturday night, which may grip most upper parts on Sunday.
They predicted that mainly cold and dry weather was expected in most parts of the country while very cold in upper parts. However, cloudy weather was likely in Gilgit-Baltistan, upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and adjoining hilly areas with chances of light rain/light snowfall in Chitral and Gilgit-Baltistan during evening/night.
Thursday’s minimum temperature was recorded at Leh where mercury dropped to -10°C, while in Lahore, it was 8°C and maximum was 25.3°C.
