Seven more newly-elected independent MPs join PMLN
PMLN’s nominated PM and President PMLN Shehbaz Sharif met newly elected members
LAHORE: Seven more newly elected independents joined Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) on Wednesday.
Those who joined the PMLN included Raza Hayat Haraj from National Assembly Constituency NA-144 Khanewal, Akbar Hayat Haraj from PP-205, Asghar Hayat Haraj from PP-212, Sultan Bajwa from PP-132, Hanif Patafi from PP-288, Mehmood Qadir Khan from PP-289 and Taimur Lali from PP-94.
The PMLN’s nominated Prime Minister and President PMLN Shehbaz Sharif met the newly elected members. Party leader Rana Tanveer, Khawaja Saad Rafiq, Attaullah Tarar, Sardar Owais Khan Leghari, Khawaja Imran Nazir, Sardar Ahmad Khan Leghari and other leaders were also present on this occasion.
At the occasion, Shehbaz Sharif said the allies were forming the government on the agenda of saving Pakistan from economic threats and saving the nation from further destruction. The mandate of the nation was to work together for the betterment of Pakistan, he added.
Party leader Attaullah Tarar and Ms Anusha Rehman were also present in the meeting.
