MULTAN: Lahore High Court (Multan bench) Justice Anwaarul Haq Pannu has summoned all SPs, Investigation, Multan and Dera Ghazi Khan Divisions, as investigators posted in police stations were unable to assist the court in bail applications.
The court has directed that action be taken against the police investigators because lawyers of the accused take advantage of their ignorance. The regional police officer, Multan, informed the court he was appointed only recently and was unaware of case files, but this would not be the case in the future.
