Section 144 enforced in Darra for re-polling

PESHAWAR: The deputy commissioner of Kohat has taken measures to ensure the smooth conduct of the re-poll process in PK-90, tribal sub-division Darra Adamkhel, today (February 15).
A handout stated that under section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code, a ban on the use of motorbikes and the display of weapons, including licensed ones, has been imposed in the tribal subdivision Darra Adamkhel, including Jawaki area.
The section 144 will last for a period of five days and its violation will be punishable under section 188 of the Pakistan Penal Code.The administration has also declared February 15 as a public holiday in the area.
