Following incident, crowd managed to catch fleeing robbers and severely beat them, leading to death of one
KARACHI: A crowd of people killed one robber and wounded another for injuring two citizens in North Karachi on Tuesday.
The incident occurred near 4K Chowrangi, where two robbers were attempting to flee after snatching mobile phones from a mobile phone shop and a puncture shop in the area. Meanwhile, police also arrived, and a crowd of people began to chase the suspects. The robbers opened fire and attempted to escape, resulting in two citizens being wounded.
Following the incident, the crowd managed to catch the fleeing robbers and severely beat them, leading to the death of one robber on the spot. The police reported that someone from the crowd also opened fire, injuring the other robber.
The casualties were transported to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, where the deceased robber was identified as 25-year-old Abdur Rasheed, while the injured individual was identified as Ali Aman, 22.
