QUETTA: Caretaker Minister for Information Jan Achakzai on Thursday refuted the statement of the leader of Balochistan National Party Mengal Sardar Akhtar Mengal regarding fake form 45.

Achakzai said: “If he (Mengal) has any evidence to support his claims, he should present it to the relevant authorities.”

In a statement issued on Thursday, he said that Mengal Sahib’s accusations might stem from anxieties about potential electoral defeat leading him to attempt to delegitimise the process.

He added that it is crucial for leaders of Mengal Sahib’s stature to refrain from disseminating potentially fabricated information. “Such actions can erode public trust and impede constructive dialogue,” he said.
