PSL-9 matches to be broadcast on Geo TV in UK

LONDON: Pakistan Super League-9 (PSL-9) matches will exclusively be broadcast live and free on the Geo News in the UK through Sky Channel 734.
The event is one of the most coveted and highest-rated sporting event in Pakistan. After two years of broadcasting behind a pay-wall, the PSL this year will broadcast free-to-air in the UK. It means the event fixtures can be accessed by over 12.7 million homes across the UK. The cricket fixtures are scheduled to go live from February 17 and will continue till March 18. The audience will see six regional teams fighting in Pakistan's most powerful and top-rated cricketing event. Every match will be full of runs, fast bowlers, exceptional batsmen, passionate fans, sensational competitions and international cricketing super stars. The high-voltage final will be played on March 18 at the National Stadium Karachi.
From the opening ceremony of the event to the closing fireworks, the audience will be enthralled by every frame of the broadcast. The league teams include Lahore Qalandars, Karachi Kings, Islamabad United, Peshawar Zalmi, Quetta Gladiators and Multan Sultans. The Alliance Advertising & Marketing is responsible for local sales while the Sky Media will deal with mainstream sales.
