MINGORA: The police claimed to have busted a gang of car-lifters and recovered several vehicles and cash amount from their possession on Tuesday.
District Police Officer Shafiullah Gandapur along with other police officials told a press conference that the police took action on the report of one Rohullah, a resident of Chedam Chakesar in Shangla, that his vehicle had been stolen.
He said that a special team headed by Additional Superintendent of Police Ghulam Sadiq Khan was constituted to trace the gang involved in the vehicle lifting.
He added that the police team used modern gadgets and close circuit television camera footage and busted a member of a car-lifters racket identified as Asim.

accomplices named Inamullah, Sajjad Ali, Fazal Subhan, Dost Muhammad and others, who were also arrested.
The police team, he said, also recovered several vehicles, motorcycles and parts of various vehicles and number plates.
