ISLAMABAD: The federal government has posted Kamran Ahmad, a BPS-20 officer of Secretariat Group, as joint secretary at the Ministry of Interior with an immediate effect.
Kamran Ahmad was an OSD in the Establishment Division. Another BPS-20 officer of the Audit and Accounts Service, Muhammad Zahid Zaman (waiting for posting), has been appointed chief finance and accounts officer at the Ministry of National Health Services. The Establishment Division has also notified posting of Muhammad Deen Chakrani, a BPS-20 officer of the Audit and Accounts, who was also waiting for posting, as director general, National Archives of Pakistan.
The federal government has appointed Squadron Leader (retd) Hussain Muhammad Musaddiq and Syed Zawwad Haider as section officers, Defence Production Division and National Food Security, respectively. Both the BPS-18 officers who belong to the Officer Management Group (OMG) were awaiting posting. Another OMG officer of BPS-18, Imtiaz Hussain who was serving as section officer at the Ministry of Religious Affairs, has been sent to the Punjab government for posting as deputy director, School Education Department.
