Emergency control room for general elections
PESHAWAR: An Emergency Control Room has been established here at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat for peaceful holding of the upcoming general elections.
A handout said the Emergency Control Room would be functional from 7th to 9th of February.
It will coordinate all kinds of activities/information and emergencies with relevant stakeholders; bring the information into the notice of caretaker chief minister till the general elections are over.
According to a notification issued from the Chief Minister’s Secretariat to this effect, Deputy Secretary of the Secretariat Mohsin Iqbal was nominated as Focal Person/In-charge of the Emergency Control Room.
