Aseefa asks Hyderabad voters to help themselves by voting PPP into power
HYDERABAD: Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, daughter of former president Asif Zardari and the late prime minister Benazir Bhutto, has vowed that if the public supports the Pakistan Peoples Party, then in the next five years there will be a hundred percent increase in the salaries of the employees, a free supply of 300 electricity units, two million houses for the flood victims and ownership rights.
Addressing a party rally in Hyderabad on Wednesday, she said that she is the daughter of Benazir Bhutto Shaheed, who was in politics for the people, and after her “I and my brother Bilawal Bhutto Zardari are your voice”.
Aseefa said the Pakistan Peoples Party had given NICVD hospitals, children’s hospitals, and people’s and Pink bus services in several cities simultaneously in Sindh so that the problems of the people were reduced.
She said many development works, including solid waste management and Rescue 1122, had been operational in Hyderabad. She added that women are becoming stable with the Benazir Income Support Programme, and the PPP will give the financial help to more deserving women, and will also help the poor with labour and health cards.
She said other political parties do not think of the poor, but of the rich; they only want power, and in their government, the rich get richer, and the poor remain poor
Aseefa further remarked that the people have the power to vote. “If the people and the PPP come together, then no one can stop them. Help Bilawal Bhutto Zardari succeed on February 8 so that he can fight the people’s war.”
The rally started from Goth Kiran Khan Shoro, the residence of PS-60 candidate Jam Khan Shoro, in which people of the constituency participated in a large number. The rally passed through Jamshoro Road, Marvi Town, Chandia Goth, Alamdar Chowk, and Naseem Nagar area of Qasimabad Tehsil, where women greeted Aseefa by showering rose petals on her vehicle.
The rally was welcomed by candidate of PS-64 Mukhtar Aajiz Dhamra at Baraj Colony, candidate of NA-220 Waseem Rajput at Heerabad, Farid Qureshi, candidate of PS-65 at Kalimori College Chowk, Ali Mohammad Sehto, candidate of NA-219 at Fateh Chowk, and candidates of PS 62 and 63, Jabbar Khan and Sanam Talpur, at the reception camp at Gudu Chowk.
