Rawalpindi : The Metropolitan Planning and Traffic Engineering (MP&TE) Directorate of RDA has lodged FIRs against the owners of three illegal housing schemes with Mandra police station.
According to the RDA spokesman, these illegal housing schemes are operating in Mauza Sahang and Mauza Sahang Mandra on Chakwal Road and Mauza Kari Dulal on GT Road Mandra, Tehsil Gujjar Khan.
He said the directorate was taking legal action against the illegal advertisement/ marketing of illegal housing schemes.
He said before lodging FIRs, the authority had issued notices to these three illegal housing schemes.
He said the RDA had warned all and sundry that without getting the requisite NOC from RDA for launch of the housing schemes, apartment projects, commercial buildings, etc. within the controlled area of RDA, all sorts of advertisement, marketing and development of such projects through advertisement agencies, private limited companies, civil proprietorships, etc. is illegal. Therefore, RDA advises the general public against making any investment in these illegal housing schemes.
