Six development schemes approved

LAHORE : The 45th meeting of the Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) held under the Chairmanship of P&D Board Chairman Iftikhar Ali Sahoo on Tuesday.

The meeting approved six development schemes of the SHC&ME and FW&F sector with an estimated cost of Rs8.896 billion.

The approved schemes include Programme for Strategic Transformation, Revamping of Tertiary Care Hospitals in Punjab (Bahawalpur Victoria Hospital, (Revised) at the cost of the Rs2.006 billion, Programme for Revamping OPD Blocks in Tertiary Care Hospitals in Punjab (Nawaz Sharif Hospital Yakki Gate, Lahore) at the cost of the Rs632.742 million, Program for Revamping OPD Blocks In Tertiary Care Hospitals in Punjab (Lady Aitchison Hospital, Lahore) (Revised) at the cost of the Rs510.668 million Programme for Revamping OPD Blocks in Tertiary Care Hospitals in Punjab (Allama Iqbal Teaching Hospital, DG Khan) (Revised) at the cost of the Rs1.275 billion and Revamping of Lahore Zoo (Revised) at the cost of the Rs1.874 billion and implementation of Master Plan of Safari Zoo Lahore (Revised) at the cost of the Rs2.598 billion.

Secretary FW&F, DG Wildlife, Members P&D Board, Head of relevant depts and other senior representatives of the relevant provincial departments attended the meeting.
