Three killed in Malakand accident
BATKHELA: A high-speed vehicle in Batkhela city of Malakand district struck pedestrians and motorcyclists, resulting in the loss of three lives.
Another three individuals sustained severe injuries, who were promptly shifted to the hospital in Batkhela, where the condition of some of the injured was reported to be critical. The driver of the vehicle abandoned the car and fled the scene after the accident.
According to Assistant Commissioner Shakil Khan, the mishap occurred on Bypass Road. Those killed were identified as Rahmani Gul, Usman Ali, and Marwa Bibi. Meanwhile, Naeem, wife of Usman, Chand Bibi, and Fahad Khan sustained severe injuries and were immediately shifted to DHQ Hospital Batkhela. The Malakand Levies lodged a case against Muhammad Yasin, against whom a search operation was also launched for his arrest.
