Three officials promoted, four transferred

ISLAMABAD: In a bureaucracy reshuffle on Wednesday, Ghulam Nabi Memon, a Grade 21 officer of Police Service, has been appointed as Executive Director, State Life Insurance Corporation, on deputation until his retirement on December 31 this year.

Pakistan Administrative Service Grade 21 Officer and Additional Secretary Inter-Province Coordination Division Sarfraz Durrani has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary Poverty Alleviation Division.

Syed Hasan Naqvi, Additional Secretary of the Power Division and Grade 20 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, has been promoted to Grade 21. He will continue to work in his existing capacity.

Dr. Mazharul Haq Kaka Khale, a Grade 20 Police Service of Pakistan (PSP) officer posted in the Intelligence Bureau, has been promoted to Grade 21. He will continue to perform his duties in IB.

Capt (R) Faisal Abdullah, a Grade 19 PSP officer of the Sindh government, has been promoted to Grade 20. Even after the promotion, he will continue to perform duties in the Sindh government. The Establishment Division has issued notifications for these promotions and transfers.

Zahoor Ahmed, a Grade 21 officer of the Secretariat Group, has been appointed as the Additional Secretary of Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination. Zahoor Ahmed, former secretary incharge Information and Broadcasting, was an OSD in the Establishment Division.

Akhlaq Ahmed Qureshi, Grade-19 officer of the Secretariat Group, has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Climate Change. Akhlaq Ahmad Qureshi was awaiting appointment in the Establishment Division.
