Will finish incomplete projects after coming to power: Shehbaz
Shehbaz said, when we come to power, like in the past, our government will complete all incomplete development projects
BAHAWALPUR: Former prime minister and PMLN President Shehbaz Sharif has said the people of Ahmadpur East should make the PMLN successful by voting for it and ensure Nawaz Sharif’s fourth-time premiership.
Addressing a big electioneering campaign and workers convention at the Mehmood Stadium in Ahmadpur East on Tuesday, Shehbaz said: “When we come to power, like in the past, our government will complete all incomplete development projects and initiate new health projects and universities.”
Criticising the past government “which came to power due to the RTS system failure”, he said they stopped the supply of medicines to government hospitals and damaged the entire health and development system in the country.
Appreciating the huge presence of people at his Jalsa in freezing temperatures, he promised to make Ahmadpur East a district, Uch Sharif a Tehsil and provide employment to youth by utilising the Skills Development Program. He claimed that whenever the PMLN came to power, it served a lot and projects like Centre, Kidney Centre, Cholistan Veterinary University and dualisation of the Bahawalpur-Hasilpur were initiated.
He said the PMLN always worked for the development of south Punjab.
The era of development will begin again in south Punjab if this area votes for Nawaz Sharif. Without naming the PTI government, he said those who claimed to bring a change did not start a single development project in the entire province, including south Punjab.
