Saudi Arabia welcomes Pak-Iran accord to de-escalate tension

ISLAMABAD: The Saudi Foreign Office has welcomed the agreement between Pakistan and Iran to restore the diplomatic relations and de-escalate tensions.
The Saudi Foreign Office expressed the hope that both the countries would resolve all their differences through peaceful means, dialogue and in accordance with the basic principles of international law.
They will be able to resolve differences by keeping in mind the principles of the United Nations Charter and good neighbourhood.
This statement on the de-escalation agreement between Pakistan and Iran by Saudi Arabia has been released on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
