LAHORE: On the orders of Ombudsman Punjab, pending pension dues, farewell grant, dues, financial aid, burial grant, monthly grant, GP fund and pending dues of Rs55.46 million were paid to 40 complainants.
According to the details, on the orders of the Ombudsman Punjab Major Azam Suleman Khan (R), applicants of the Punjab Government Servants Fund Board, Secretary Punjab Workers Welfare Fund, Marriage Grant Punjab Workers Welfare Fund, Education Department, Secretary School Education Department, District Health Authority, Local Government and Community Development, Welfare Fund Board, District Health Authority, District Education Authority, GP Fund, District Accounts Officer, Chief Officer, Municipal Corporation and Punjab Workers Welfare Board and applicants from different districts whose cases are pending due to various reasons have been provided legal relief of Rs5 crore 54 lakh 66 thousand 117 in their pending applications.In these cases, relief was provided to the families of deceased government employees by the Office of the Punjab Ombudsman.
