Aleem Khan starts election campaign
Aleem Khan said that if elected his government will provide maximum relief to the common man
LAHORE: Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) President Abdul Aleem Khan has said that there is no doubt that today the life of a common man has become most difficult and people are in such trouble which is not even possible to describe. He expressed these views while talking to the media after visiting the Data Darbar before launching his election campaign from NA-117, here on Friday.
Aleem Khan said that if elected his government will provide maximum relief to the common man. “Our manifesto is an ideal one”. He added that 300 free units of electricity will extend maximum relief and it is satisfactory that Bilawal Bhutto has also liked the points of our manifesto. He further said that similarly, “Kissan Package” of Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party is also excellent and the cost of agricultural production will be reduced by getting free tube well electricity for small farmers.
Aleem Khan said that the attack by Iran was unjustified, every Pakistani, including me, will stand with Pak Army and appreciate forces’ for their prompt and effective response. Replying to a question, Aleem said that he has been in politics for the past 22 years. He said that Abdul Aleem Khan Foundation is serving the masses without any discrimination and water filtration plants, dispensaries, monthly financial aid and other welfare works have been going on for many years even in such areas where I have never contested elections or to take votes.
Later, Abdul Aleem Khan along with his workers started an election campaign from Data Darbar via GT Road and Ravi Bridge where Provincial Assembly candidate Ghazali Saleem Butt from PP-146 received him warmly. Aleem Khan was given a mammoth reception and was taken to Saeed Park, Maqbara More, Railway Phatak, Hasnain Colony and Old Narowal Road, where he addressed public gathering and claimed that if he is elected from NA-117 he would not disappoint people of Shahdara. Every citizen has to pass through the Shahdara first while entering into Lahore and we will make it as beautiful as possible.
Citizens marched along with Aleem Khan from Badami Bagh to Shahdara along with motorcyclists. Several youth and other participants also danced on this occasion. Aleem Khan also stopped at many places and shook hands with the citizens by thanking them for this warm and historic welcome in NA-117.
