Martyred cops paid tribute

LAHORE:A smartly turned contingent of police presented salute to the graves of police martyred Sub-Inspector Muhammad Waseem, Constable Maswar Ali and Constable Sarwar Beg on their death anniversary.

The contingent laid wreaths and offered Fateha. On this occasion, tributes were paid to the sacrifices of police martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty. According to the spokesperson for Lahore police, Sub-Inspector M Waseem and Constable Maswar were martyred in the bomb blast on January 18, 1997, during session court duty and Constable Sarwar Baig was martyred as a result of firing by miscreants.
