No one will accept Feb 8 elections: Hashmi
MULTAN: Senior politician Javed Hashmi has said the eyes of the whole world are on the February 8 elections.
Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, he said in his view, elections would not be held on February 8.
The largest party has been expelled from the election process. Jahangir Tareen never worked for this constituency. He said he would compete in NA-149 Multan-II against Tareen and Amir Dogar. He predicted that the PMLN would secure 30 to 35 per cent seats. Up to 20 per cent seats would go to the PPP and the rest would be independents. He said no one would accept the coming elections. He said he once told Imran Khan that what was happening to Nawaz Sharif would happen to him. He said whether he liked Imran Khan or not, the whole nation had accepted him as a leader.
