Shangla candidates allotted electoral symbols

ALPURI: Both independent and political party candidates for national and provincial assembly seats in Shangla district have been allotted electoral symbols.
There are 17 candidates for the National Assembly seat NA-11, while 19 candidates are contesting PK-28 Shangla-I, 18 are vying for PK-29 Shangla-II, and 22 hopefuls for PK-30 Shangla-III.
Following the Supreme Court verdict that stripped the PTI of the bat electoral symbol, the party candidates were awarded various symbols.The PTI’s Haji Syed Farin was awarded the election symbol of airplane, Shaukat Ali Yousafzai, contesting from PK-28 Shangla-I, was given the symbol of a rocket, and Haji Abdul Munim from PK-29 Shangla-II received the symbol of pomegranate
