Two held for kidnapping for ransom

Two suspects were arrested for their alleged involvement in a kidnapping for ransom case in Karachi on Sunday.
The arrests were made by the Anti-Violent Crime Cell (AVCC) of the police. According to a spokesperson for the AVCC, the arrested suspects were identified as Fahim Farooq and Ahmed Iqbal. They allegedly kidnapped a man, Yasir, in the Mehmoodabad area. The case of the kidnapping was registered at the Mehmoodabad police station.
Following the crime, the investigation of the case was transferred to the AVCC, which eventually traced and arrested the suspects. Police said the suspects’ criminal record was being checked and investigations were under way.
