A substantial number of protesters voiced their discontent against the Sachal police on Saturday, sparked by the apprehension of a suspect during a police raid at a gutka factory.
A significant crowd gathered near Memon Hospital, close to Safoora Goth Chowrangi, blocking the road by placing tires on it. The protesters, expressing dissatisfaction, accused the Sachal police of arresting an innocent individual. Contrarily, Sacchal SHO Aurangzaib Khattak refuted all allegations against the police. He clarified that a raid had been conducted on a gutka factory a few days ago, resulting in the arrest of a gutka supplier.
