BoR full board meeting discusses 11-point agenda
LAHORE:Senior Member Board of Revenue (SMBR) Nabil Javed presided over a Board of Revenue (BoR) full board meeting in the committee room on Friday.
Member Colonies M Khan Ranjha, Member Tax and Secretary Board of Revenue Shafqatullah Mushtaq participated in the meeting. Director PDMA Nazia Jabeen and other officers also attended the meeting.
An 11-point agenda was discussed in the meeting. Minutes of the last full board meeting were also approved in the meeting. Member Colonies M Khan Ranjha presented the agenda of extension in agricultural land lease. Lease of agricultural land to agricultural veterinary and forestry graduate students was also discussed in the meeting.
The SMBR directed the assessment of the allotted land and said whether the purpose or goals for which the land was given were achieved. He directed the Livestock and Agriculture Committee to submit a report on the matter.
DC Sahiwal presented the agenda of sharing mutation. SMBR directed DC Sahiwal and Member Revenue to submit a detailed report in this regard. In the third agenda, the issue of M Munir Ghumman was discussed according to the orders of the High Court. The full board has issued instructions to approve the Munir Ghumman case.
In the fourth agenda, NAB approved auction of properties. Secretary Board of Revenue presented agenda for auction of properties under Section 88. After the initial briefing, the full board approved the auction.
Secretary Board of Revenue also presented the agenda for grant of additional leaves by DC Khanewal. Proposals for new leaves were also presented in Multan and Khanewal. SMBR directed to present the issue of new leaves in the next full board meeting.
SMBR also directed reforms in the ‘Lumbardar’ system and instructions were given to take reports from the committees formed on the project of Village Chamkenge. Five table agendas were also presented in the meeting. PLRA presented an agenda for digitisation of sites under the Plus project.
Nabil Javed directed to digitise all the sites. He also reviewed the progress in digitisation of urban land. He instructed to immediately stop the transfer of missing deeds properties. He said that all possible measures will be taken for the convenience of the citizens.
