TIMERGARA: The victim of a house robbery case has demanded the inspector general of police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and other police officials to issue orders to the police station concerned to lodge the first information report (FIR) of the case in Khall area in Dir Lower and bring the culprits to justice.
Talking to local journalists at Timergara, Akhunzada Ihsanullah complained that despite the passage of four weeks, the case of armed robbery at his house was yet to be lodged in the Khall Police Station.
“Some unidentified armed men barged into my house late in the night on December 12, held the family hostage at gunpoint and decamped with 5 tolas of gold ornaments and Rs200,000 cash with them,” Akhunzada Ihsanullah said.
He added that they visited the Khall Police Station along with the area elders to get the FIR registered. However, he said the police were hesitant to register the FIR and lodged the report in the daily chronicle. When contacted, the police officials said that they had already lodged the FIR and an inquiry into the matter was underway.
