Directive to complete Babu Sabu, zoo projects as per schedule

LAHORE:Planning and Development (P&D) Board Chairman Iftikhar Ali Sahoo visited the Lahore Zoo, Ravi Bridge, Babu Sabu-Niazi Interchange, and Shahdara Flyover and inspected the development work.

He conducted a thorough site inspection in the presence of technical specialists, consultants, and contractors. On this occasion, the P&D Board chairman said that allocating more human resources on weekdays would be helpful to complete the projects within the specific time as there remains less traffic on those days. He said that Package-II at Babu Sabu had to be completed as per decided schedule and there would be no compromise on the quality of work at all. Further, he emphasised the need to think carefully and determine the scope of the Lahore Zoo project. He said that suggestions of the experts should be followed in the construction of Lahore zoo and Safari zoo to avoid any flaw in developing this mega projects. He directed Contractor & Consultant of package-II at Babu Sabu to accelerate speed of work to meet the deadline without any compromises on the quality.
