‘High value target’ among two killed in Tank IBO

RAWALPINDI: Security forces have killed two terrorists, including a high value target (HVT) in Tank district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

On the night of January 4 and 5, an Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) was conducted in the district on reported presence of terrorists in which two terrorists, including the high value target Gul Yousaf and Toor, were killed after an intense exchange of fire, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement.

Gul Yousaf remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against the security forces, including the high-profile terrorist attacks in Tank and DI Khan districts as well as extortion and target killing of innocent civilians.

He was highly wanted by the law-enforcement agencies and government carrying Rs2.5 million head money.
