CCPO orders timely submission of challans
LAHORE : A meeting of the senior officers of the Investigation Wing was held at the Capital City Police Office on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Capital City Police Officer Lahore.
The meeting reviewed the progress of pending road certificates, electricity theft and under investigation cases.
Capital City Police Officer directed divisional SPs for timely submission of challans.
Police Complaint Cell disposed of 15,543
Lahore police Complaint Cell received 16,005 applications in 2023 and disposed of 15,543 while 462 applications are being processed.
The police disposed of 29 out of 32 applications that were received from the Prime Minister’s Performance Delivery Unit. The police also disposed of 299 pleas out of 302 that were received from the Chief Minister’s House portal. The CCPO office disposed of 6,345 applications out of 6,482 and 137 are in progress. Police received 6,806 applications through post and disposed of 6,583 and 223 are in process.
The police disposed of 58 applications out of 65 that were received from the Overseas Pakistanis.
The police disposed of 2,215 applications out of 2,303 that were received through IG complaint centre 1787 and 88 are under process.
The police disposed of 14 pleas out of 15 that were received on 1242 helpline and one application is under process.
