Bara Press Club elects office-bearers

BARA: Kamran Afridi was elected president and Jehanzeb Khan general secretary of the Bara Press Club in the annual elections here on Monday.

Iqbal Afridi was elected as vice-president and Qazi Muhammad Rauf finance secretary for the next one year.The election committee chaired by Islam Gul Afridi, with members Shah Nawaz Afridi, Shafiq Afridi and Shahid Afridi conducted the election.

A number of journalists from different press clubs attended the election process as observers.The newly elected president vowed to work for the betterment of the journalist community in Bara.The political leaders, social activists and people from different walks of life visited the press club to greet the new office-bearers.
