LGH staffer laid to rest
LAHORE:The funeral of deputy chief Nursing Superintendent of Lahore General Hospital was held on Monday. Ramzan Bibi passed away 15 days before her retirement. Her funeral was held in the grounds of LGH where in recognition of her meritorious services she was also presented with a Guard of Honour.
Post Graduate Medical Institute & Ameer Uddin Medical College Principal Prof Muhammad Al-Fareed Zafar talked to her family members and nursing staff and paid rich tributes to her. He said she performed her duties with zeal and professional dedication.
The PGMI principal said according to the policy of the Punjab government, under the increase in the grant of deceased civil servants, the family of Ramzan Bibi will be granted financial assistance after fulfilling the legal requirements.
